A Walk in the Park: Celebrating & Supporting people with Parkinson’s
A Walk in the Park is Australia’s largest community event dedicated to improving the lives of people with Parkinson’s. Across the country, fundraisers raised over $265,000 to support people with Parkinson’s in Australia.
This year, Parkinson’s Queensland held 7 walks across the state with over $48,000 raised.
We are especially grateful to participants and supporters for your outstanding fundraising efforts. Whether you bought a sausage at your event-day BBQ, or collected donations from friends and family – we could not have done it without you. Parkinson’s Queensland is committed to continued investment of these funds in information, education and support services to improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson’s across the state, and advancing the search for a cure.
