PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT
Morgans Financial provide significant financial support to Parkinson’s Queensland to enable the ongoing provison of programs and services to the Parkinson’s Community. Morgan’s also offer assistance through the support of skilled volunteers in the Parkinson’s Queensland office and adding to Parkinson’s Queensand educational sessions by hosting Wealth Management seminars to Parkinson’s Queensland Members.

PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT
The Department of Communities, Disabilities Services and Seniors provided funding for the development and implementation of the Parkinson’s Queensland Telephone Peer Support Program which will help people with Parkinson’s all across Queensland. The funds provided by the Department have also funded the operation of the program for the first 12 months, ensuring the support of the Parkinson’s Community through the Telephone Peer Support Program until at least 2021.
ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITIES, DISABILITY SERVICES AND SENIORS
The Queensland Government Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services is responsible for the delivery of human services across various portfolios including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services, child safety, disability, community care, housing, homelessness, multicultural affairs, sport, recreation and women.
PARTNERSHIP SUPPORT
As part of it’s COVID-19 Relief Funding, Queensland Health has committed an outstanding amount of funding to improving communication for people with Parkinson’s in Queensland. Enabling Parkinson’s Queensland to improve it’s communication by increasing the frequency of it’s print newsletter, introducing video media content and upgrading it’s website to host an extensive amount of new content, this funding ensured that Parkinson’s Queensland could remain connected to the Parkinson’s community throughout isolation and beyond.
