Dr John O’Sullivan – “Clinical Trials, Constipation and COMBO”

Associate Professor John O’Sullivan is a consultant neurologist specialising in the management of Parkinson’s disease. He is Director of the Movement Disorder’s Service at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital Department of Neurology, and Principal Research Fellow at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research (UQCCR). He is Past President of both Parkinson’s Queensland, and the Movement Disorders Society of Australian and New Zealand after training in Melbourne and London. He is currently leading the COMBO trial, investigating the role of prebiotic supplements in controlling constipation by modifying the microbiome in Parkinson’s disease.
His Webinar will include discussion about why Clinical Trials are important, identifying and managing constipation in Parkinson’s disease and details about the new COMBO trial for constipation in Parkinson’s disease to be conducted in South East Queensland. He will be happy to answer questions.
